Epoq has just released new portable media player Nextgen with 4GB of internal memory, 3 inch display with 320 x 240 resolution, FM tuner, audio recorder, USB connectivity and SD card slot. This PMP plays RMVB, AVI, DAT, FLV, JPG, GIF, BMP, MP3 and WMA files, but we cannot notice that there is no support for AAC, OGG, FLAC and XviD file types. Still if you like it, expect Nextgen in stores soon for $250 bucks.

Digital Raon just released latest EVERUN Wibro UMPC which is maybe known to somebody as S60H Wibro from Korean market. This new model is clone of previous model with Wibro wireless module that enable Internet connection and running AMD LX900 processor and 60GB hard drive. This new model will be soon available in stores next to you for just USD$850.

Dell’s Australian site reported Inspiron 1525 availability with January 9th shipping date. 15.4 inch Inspiron 1525 features 2GHz T7250 Core 2 Duo processor, X3100 integrated graphic card, 2GB of RAM, 160GB storage and WiFi. For that configuration price tag about $1228 is kinda cheap.

After so much buzz about OLPC and Eee PC finally we have some Classmate PC news. This time Hacao’s Classmate PC is available in Vietnam for students. Hacao ships it with own customizes Linux distro and features 900MHz Celeron processor, 256MB of RAM, 1GB of Flash storage, a 7-inch WVGA display and WiFi. As some sources report this version will be available in Vietnamese computer stores for $340, while for schools Classmate PC costs $250.

Panasonic’s latest burner for laptops goes down with thickens to the amazing 9.5 mm. The drive can read and write Blu-ray discs at 2x, and supports DVD and CD read/write functions of course. Toshiba developing team claims that HD DVD burners can be slimmed down to 7 mm which will make them the best Blu-ray drives in this category, but so far only DVD has gone that slim. Expect official debut of this Panasonic new drive next month at CES.

Cowon continues to release interesting devices lately. This time new N3 portable media player comes with DMB TV tuner. As you can see player is followup to the N2 with 7 inch touchscreen and 800 x 480 resolution. Inside is stored 600MHz Alchemy AU processor, dual SDHC slots because N3 ships with but no built-in memory, and GPS. All software runs on Windows CE 5.0 and we don’t have info about price, at least until CES 2008. next month.

As company claims 2-in-1 rotary multi-card reader has unique patent, turning connector that offers flexibility to insert memory cards vertically. Nothing revolutionary but very useful if you have whole bunch of memory cards in everyday usage.

According to Madbox PC AMD has released couple low end graphic cards for users who doesn’t care about playing Crysis. The Radeon HD 3450 card is based on the RV620 core, running at 525MHz, with 256MB RAM and VGA plug to accompany the DisplayPort. The HD 3470, for $60, running as 600MHz and 512MB of RAM and DVI, while the HD 3650 based on the RV635 core, for $100, sports 800MHz with 512MB of RAM. This trio should be fine choice if you are cool with watching HD video and managing everyday tasks on your computer without any special gaming desires.
