Seems that Fujitsu’s LOOX R ultra-portable 12.1-inch laptop is the world’s first laptop to run mobile version of Intel’s new Penryn CPU. With 1.27 kg weight and LED 1,280 x 800 display this little laptop sports up to 4GB or memory and 120GB hard drive, dual-layer DVD writer, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g WiFi, SDHC slot, Firewire, fingerprint sensor, PCMCIA and more. With standard battery LOOX R works for 9.7-hours. Shipping is expected in January and still no words on price.

Now here are tall speakers from Nucleus. Nucleus Reference 5LS are floor standing loudspeakers 7 inches wide, 11 inches deep and 6.5 feet tall. Each one boasts twelve aluminum, rear-firing 4 inch subwoofers, eight 4 inch carbon fiber midrange drivers and seven CDT II tweeters. We are curious why company doesn’t provide info about power handling and frequency response. No information about price but those skyscrapers are expected to show in stores really soon.

First reviews of the Cowon A3 showed up recently. As expected Cowon A3 supports almost every audio and video format you can imagine, sweet 4 inch LCD display with ability to play 720p HD content and very intuitive interface. Inside we have 30GB/60GB 1.8 inch hard drive, built-in microphone, USB connectivity, FM radio, dual speakers and line-in for video/audio recording. Still there is no WiFi and Bluetooth. If that doesn’t hurt you, Cowon A3 is perfect little media player! Yours for $350 or $400 depending on storage capacity.

HP decided to reduce the prices for Blackbird 002 with limited-time deal featuring liquid-cooled 2.66GHz E6750 Core 2 Duo processor, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a Logitech gaming mouse and keyboard. Also there is option to get Blackbird 002 with Vista Ultimate preinstalled. No word on how long this price will last but passionate gamers surely should be interested to get it for $2,399.

Mobiblu continues cube like DAP series. This time Korean company reveals new concept, the Nanum. Without display this DAP unfolds to a cross shape, and features 1GB of storage, USB 2.0, pop-out buttons. Dimensions are 1.1 inches a side, and supports MP3, WMA, and WAV files. Available in red, white, or light green combinations. Unfortunately there is no information about price.
