Right from the Moon Room at the The Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Mitsubishi unveiled laser HDTV. As company claims Mitsubishi is a leader in laser technology and owns 75% of the led laser market, so combining that with HDTV market made perfect sense. On presentations were tested three 65 inch laser HDTV with fantastic color quality and intense contrast. Unfortunately there is not much info about specs or prices but we’re expecting them very soon.

CES visitors are able to see new Audiovox digital audio player Lyra A6008. This cutie is a slider model with 8GB of internal storage and 2.4 inch LCD display. The slider option unveils a scroll wheel that gives you easier navigation. Price of $200 is reasonable but no words on date it will hit the stores.

SanDisk announces the High-Definition Video lineup. These SDHC and Memory Stick PRO Duo cards are actually classic storage cards but buyers will get the benefit of having recording times stamped right on the device. Also each model comes with handy jewel case and labels for storage that can be helpfull for organizing. This new Video HD models will consist of 4GB ($79.99) / 8GB ($139.99) SDHC models and 4GB ($79.99) / 8GB ($149.99) MS PRO Duo. All will be available in stores from March.

After a half year of waiting NVIDIA goes official with Hybrid SLI technology that will increase graphics performance and decrease power consumption simultaneously and it will soon be incorporated into a wide variety of graphics and motherboard desktop and notebook products. Hybrid SLI enables NVIDIA motherboard GPUs to work cooperatively with discrete NVIDIA GPUs when paired in the same PC platform, and only the GPU(s) needed will be called upon in order to save energy especially battery life in laptops.
