EDS Lab presented latest WiDRIVE line with two new flavours 1.8-inch (PX-100) and 2.5-inch (DX-225). Both support a BitTorrent client, RSS podcast subscriptions and a built-in web server. Connecting this drive can be managed via number of networking standards including DHCP, WebDav UPnP, Bonjour and 802.11b/g. USB port is reserved only for charging.

Hitachi revealed new ultra short throw display projector named CP-A100. This model can display 50 inch picture from just 15 inches distance from the screen and there are no shadows interfering with the image and no light in the presenter’s face. CP-A100 has the network connectivity which allows for simultaneous monitoring and control of several projectors from a remote location. This is particularly beneficial in schools and large corporate environments, where projectors are located throughout a facility and the monitoring of each projector is a time-consuming ordeal. Technical specs says CP-A100 features brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens, XGA resolution and a 400:1 contrast ratio.
