Seagate announced new 250GB laptop drive Momentus 5400.4. New hard drive is just 9.5 mm high with rotation speed of 5400 rpm. The device features two 125 GB platters with an aerial storage density of 204 Gb/inch2 and a 3 Gb SATA interface. Seagate also claims that the drive offers one of the lowest average power consumption levels among its rivals – 1.45 watts during read cycles and 1.54 watt during write cycles. Available right now with suggested retail price of $165.

iriver reveals new low end digital audio players Siren DP150 lineup. DP150 is actually DP100 successor and ships in two storage combinations 1GB and 2GB, weights just 24 grams and has small 128 x 32 OLED display, built in equalizer and MP3 and WMA support. HCL presents new low-cost laptop series MiLeap X and Y. MiLeap X is Classmate PC featuring 7 inch 800 x 600 display, 900MHz Celeron M processor, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of flash memory and two USB ports. And MiLeap Y has more UMPC-like design and boasts Intel A110 processor, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive, 1.3 MP webcam and higher resolution 1024×600 7-inch screen.
