Western Digital reveals new disks based on 320GB-per-platter technology. That is the same areal density seen recently in 160 GB-per-platter 2.5-inch Scorpio drives that topped out with total 320GB of storage due to the size constraints. Obviously upgrades of the other WD product lines will follow.
