Asus is preparing new line of Eee products that will include E-DT, E-TV, and E-Monitor. The E-DT desktop solution will sport Intel Celeron processor and will be available in April or May for $200 - $300. The E-Monitor is 19 and 21 inch all-in-one PC with built-in TV tuner based on Intel’s Shelton platform and launches in September for $499. And last 42-inch E-TV will feature a Linux PC integrated into the LCD, launching also in September for $200.
Mitsubishi reveals two new projectors XL1550U and XL2550U. First one XL1550U features XGA 1,024 x 768 resolution, 3,100 ANSI lumens and lamp life up to 5,000 hours. On the other hand XL2550U sports same resolution and 4,000 ANSI lumens, the new BrightEra LCD panels and a lamp with 4,000 hours of life time. Both models are equipped with built-in Ethernet ports and RS-232 port. Available in the stores from next week with prices $3,995 for XL1550U and $4,495 for XL2550U.
Digital Cube unveils i-station electronic dictionary that combine specs from UMPCs, PMPs and GPS/PMP/DMB combos. Like most of other electronic dictionaries on the market i-station works as translator from 50 dictionaries preloaded, but also features 60GB hard drive, 4.3 inch touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, and whole bunch of non-dictionary features. So far available only in Korea.
Check out this Korean PMP WithView HM-U500. With ultra thin design this devise sports 4.3-inch 480 x 272 resolution panel, 4GB or 8GB internal storage and SD card slot, built in camera, headphone jack, T-DMB tuner and support for MP3, WMV, OGG, JPG, BMP, PNG and AVI file formats. Right now available in Korea and there is no info about the price.
