In order to keep pace with Dell, Rock announced new Xtreme XL8 laptop with twin NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTXs GPU. Also this beast will feature Intel X6800 quad-core processor and up to 1TB of storage space. Display will be 17 inch with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and there are Ethernet, Draft-N wireless card and HD DVD drive. And what about the price? If you are interested prepare $5,971 bucks. In stores somewhere this month.

Some new info about upcoming Dell’s Latitude E-series has been released. So far we know it will come in 14.1 and 15.4 inches versions with WXGA and WXGA+ LED backlit displays, and new 12 inch and 13.3 inch version for road warrior types. Also we can expect DisplayPort, eSATA, USB ports, and PC/ExpressCard slots in the larger models.

Lite-On is working on Moldable Mouse that can be molded in any shape you desire and can work just as any other classic mouse. After you finish the shaping just attach buttons and scroll wheel and use it. The Moldable Mouse is made from special modeling clay combined with a nylon and polyurethane fabric. Already won the Red Dot design award but will it be in the stores soon? think not.

Guys from HotHardware got a chance to test Asus’ new EAH3870 X2 1GB TOP graphic. From this beast you can expect only top performance. EAH3870 X2 features dual-GPU, 1GB 0.8ns Hynix GDDR3 DRAM (1200MHz/2.4GHz GDDR3), four dual-link DVI ports and one s-video port. Also there is custom cooling with dual fans and copper heat-plate with heatpipes linked to dual aluminum heatsinks. Overall this card is much lighter weight than the original reference design AMD Radeon HD 3870 X2. Stay tuned for more news and details.
