Seems that Qualcomm has convinced Dell to use its new Gobi dual-3G chipsets in Latitude, Precision, and other still unspecified laptop series. This new chipsets will lwt you to connect on EV-DO and HSPA networks without having to carry two different mobile broadband cards with you, and with switching between the two in easy way. So far there is not much info about exact models that will be upgraded or about prices you will have to pay for that, just a brief note that they will be available sometime later this year.
