Van Del Led Jisus laptop line got a new incarnation simply named V2. Jisus V2 is designed in interesting pink colored leather case and inside the hub you will find VIA C7-M 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, VIA Chrome9 graphics, 80GB hard drive, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.0. Display is 10.2 inches with 1024 x 600 resolution. Expect this new Jisus model in stores somewhere after June 20th for about $546 bucks.
Japanese Thanko has new interesting solar powered DAP. Named simply The Solar Digital Audio Player features 1.8 1.8-inch 220 x 176 resolution display, 4GB of internal storage space and a miniSD expansion slot. On the flip side you will find solar panel that will give you some extra juice for listening music outdoors. Of course this player charges the internal battery via USB cable of your computer. No words on prices and release date.
As you already have heard, ASUS will announce Atom based Eee PC 901 and new 1001 10 incher at Computex show tomorrow. At the same time WiMax Expo show has started and we have a chance to see WiMax-enabled Eee PC 901. The WiMax version won’t ship for some time but visitors could see new 901 models with 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, memory card slot, and a 20GB SSD for Linux builds or 12GB SSD for Windows. Eee PC 901 features batteries that will give you from 4 to 6 hours of work time. ASUS also said they will cut the prices of previous Eee PC versions.
