Surely you remember Shuttle monitor we have mentioned yesterday? Now we have a chance to see new Priceton’s 19-inch touchscreen PTB-TMW19B tablet display with very similar design. We must notice that exterior is the same as to the Shuttle but from performance Priceton features 1440 x 900 resolution, handwriting recognition software, 5ms response, 850: 1 contrast ratio, and built-in speakers. Available in Japan by the end of this month for ¥128,000 (about $1,200).

Western Digital introduced fastest 3.5-inch 7200RPM drive on the market named Caviar Black SATA drive. Available in 750GB and 1TB capacities and 32MB of cache, StableTrac / NoTouch technologies and a five-year warranty. Both models will be available by the end of the week for $199 and $249 respectively.

iriver has finally start to ship the Volcano digital players in Europe under T7 Volcano name. This stick shaped DAPs feature OLED display, FM radio, voice recording, MP3, WMA, ASF, Ogg file support and 2GB and 4GB storage capacity. You can choose for many different colors with prices €35 for the 2GB, €50 for the 4GB.

Packard Bell has a new line of laptops. Multimedia-friend ML (15.4-inch) and SL (17-inch) are based on the Puma platform. The MT (15.4-inch) and ST (17-inch) laptops include “Battery Boost” button allowing the switch between dedicated video and integrated Intel GMA chipsets in order to conserve unwired time. And TN line is designed for younger audience with low prices. At the same time from the desktop category Pacard Bell released i-Media, family-Extreme and i-Max machines dedicated for all types of consumers. Seems that all of there models will be released in Italy first and then for the rest of the world.
