China is adding new technology improvements for the upcoming Olympics in Beijing and working on creating its own TV standard - CMMB (China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting). And of course RAmos has already designed new PMP, iTV with CMMB support. There is not much more info about this PMP but we’re assuming that it will support RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, 3GP video files.
There were rumors about Lenovo and new IdeaPad model but we have seen the specifications. According to some sources the IdeaPad G430 will feature 14.1 inch WXGA display, 2GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, NVIDIA’s 256MB GeForce 9300M GS, Windows Vista Home Basic as OS, DVD burner, and a 6-cell battery. Probably included 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and no webcam. We’re hoping that Lenovo will come with some official in formations soon.

Iriver is ready to launch a new cute pmp named Spinn. This product features DAB radio and DMB TV tuner, FM radio, mini SD slot, Bluetooth and D-Click System interface. The battery is good for 27 hours of audio and 5 hours of video and supports SWF, TXT, MP3, WMA, OGG, JPG, AVI, MWV file formats. Official release is expected in August in UK for yet undisclosed price.
NEONECO has a new attachable iPod speakers that has its own power source with rechargeable battery With this option you will extend the iPod battery and will be able to listen music more that with usual type of iPod speakers. Available right now in South Korea for about $29 dollars for iPod nano model, $32 for iPod classic and $35 for iPod touch.
Cowon has released new PMP device the P5 media player. This model features 5 inch touchscreen with Cowon’s Widget+Haptic UI riding a 700MHz RMI Alchemy AU1250 processor. There are also standard USB and USB-host jacks, T-DMB broadcast TV, FM radio, Bluetooth, TV-out (component, S-Video, and composite), stereo speakers, and up to 80GB of storage in a “Luxury Hairline Metal” casing. There is option for not so good WiFi dongle and Win CE Internet browser, MS Office, electronic dictionary, and support for AVI, ASF, WMV, MPG, OGM, DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, WMV9, MP3, WMA, AC3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and more. Battery will provide about 9 hours of video playback or 14 hrs of music. P5 is expected to launch on July 29th in Korea for yet undisclosed price.
Toshiba is working on interesting device, probably UMPC prototype that run Windows Visa and pack Intel’s Atom processor with a 64GB SSD and a GPS chip. As you can see from the photo there is no keyboard and all input comes from 5.6 inch touchscreen. There is not much more info about this device but we’re hoping Toshiba will release this cutie soon.
Kingston has tossed new set of DataTraveler line with 16GB capacity. DataTraveler 400 with MigoSync software and the DT100 are available in 16GB flavors, the DT101 comes with security software and 8GB capacity with option to choose from cyan, pink and yellow colors. All models are available right now for $196 bucks for 16GB DT400, $85 16GB DT100 and DT101 from $14 to $44.
