Just as we thought that Sony will bear the world thinnest crown for some time, Philips unveiled its new 8mm thick LCD HDTV. This 32 inch model is still in concept phase and will feature LumiLEDs along with Full HD options we all expect. The company officials has announced that there will be wide range of sizes up to 42 inches and higher. Now we have to wait some official info about this HDTV.
Samsung has announced new ultraslim 13.3 laptop named X360. The new model will be just 0.66 inches thick and weighting 2.8 pounds and will be powered by Centrino 2 ULV processor with 1GB of RAM, X4500 integrated graphics, 64GB or 128GB SSD, or option for 120GB hard drive. As you can expect the ultraslim models doesn’t integrate optical drive but still there were space for 7-in-1 card reader, three USB ports, PCI ExpressCard/34, HDMI, VGA, LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR and a 1.3 megapixel camera. And of course it is too early to talk about prices and availability.
Just as we thought new photos of upcoming Walkman series are showing. The new Sony Walkman NWZ-S639F sport 2 inch crisp sharp display with new advanced user interface very similar to the A820 series. The player’s capacity is 16GB and supports most of the common audio file types but still there is no video support. And there is no info about release date.
