ASUS has decided to use Eee brand to the max and latest rumors says that company is prepping new Eee Monitor. It is still uncertain if this product will be just ordinary display or all-in-one PC solution. As pictures show, the Eee Monitor will probably feature 20 inch size, webcam, two front USB ports and four on the rear side as well as two Ethernet ports and audio jacks. Also there is Denon logo that indicate brand name amplifier and most probably a speakers. And same as for any other ASUS products it is way to early to mention the availability and prices.
ViewSonic has released new LCD monitor, the VA2626WM. This 26 inch cutie packs qualitz features such as 6,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, HDMI, DVI, VGA ports, 2.5 watt speakers and 1920 x 1200 resolution. Expected to hit the stores from next month for just $529.
Dell has released new LCD the UltraSharp 2709W. This 27 incher features 1920 x 1200 resolution, 9-in-2 media card reader, 6ms response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits of brightness and stylish black design. From the back you will find HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, component, composite, and DisplayPort connectors, couple of USB ports and HDCP too. Price is just $999.
As promised on the CES in January, Sharp has introduced the 108 inch monster LCD TV. LB-1085 features a 108-ASV 1080p LCD panel with a 400 cd/m2 brightness, 1,200:1 contrast, 6ms response, and 176 degree viewing angle. Measures 8.4 x 0.66 x 5.1 feet and weights 430-pounds. On the back side you will find all necessary goods 3x HDMI, 1x DVI, 2x component, and a smattering of other in-and-out. Right now available in Japan for about $100,000 price tag, so go grab it!
LG claims that they have produced the world’s most energy-efficient monitor. LG Flatron W2252TE maintaining a 45%, about 40W, reduction power consumption compared to other models on the market and beside that features 22 inch display with 1680 x 1050 resolution, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms response time, a 170 degree viewing angle, and a 250cd/m2 brightness. Expected to be available somewhere in August for yet unknown price.
Hyundai has announced new LCD display W220S that pack standard specs for such models 22 inch display with 1,680 x 1,050 WSXGA+ resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness and 5 ms response. But, the W220S comes with special polarized glasses for 3D view and bunch of 3D applications including Google Earth 3D, couple 3D games and TriDef media player for 3D video content. So afar available in Japan for ¥98,000 or about $913 bucks.
Surely you remember Shuttle monitor we have mentioned yesterday? Now we have a chance to see new Priceton’s 19-inch touchscreen PTB-TMW19B tablet display with very similar design. We must notice that exterior is the same as to the Shuttle but from performance Priceton features 1440 x 900 resolution, handwriting recognition software, 5ms response, 850: 1 contrast ratio, and built-in speakers. Available in Japan by the end of this month for ¥128,000 (about $1,200).
Acer is introducing new LCD monitor P224W as the world’s first 24-inch Full HD, 16:9 ratio LCD monitor. From the specs we can see 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, touch-sensitive on-screen display and a 2-millisecond gray-to-gray response time. And as it is usuall there are not info about prices and release date.
The Shuttle XP19 widescreen touchscreen LCD display has been spotted at Computex show and now we got some deatiled specifications - 19-inch Wa-Si TFT active matrix screen, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 170-degree viewing angles. All packed into cool and shiny metal case. Beautiful!

Both models feature WSXGA+ screen with 1,680 x 1,050 resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and VGA / USB 2.0 connectors. Unfortunately there are no info about prices but expect them soon.
