Archos has unveiled new PMPs the Archos 5 and Archos 7 with 320GB capacity. There will be also special model Archos 5g that sport 3.5 HSDPA support along with WiFi that will be in all three models. Archos 5 will be available in 60-250GB storage capacities while the Archos 7 goes up from 160GB to 320GB. Archos 5 features 4.8 inch touchscreen while Archos 7 goes with 7 incher with the same resolution. All players can record VGA video through an optional DVR Station dock or the DVR snap-on. As for the measures the Archos 7 is just 0.63-inches thick, and the Archos 5 just 0.5 inches. Unfortunately no words on pricing and availability.

Boston Acoustics has developed new iPod dock named Horizon i-DS2 with 60-watt speaker system including twin 3.5-inch full-range drivers, composite video output, USB connector and auxiliary input for connecting other DAPs and PMPs. Design is in known Apple white or in complete black colors and you can get on for just $179.99.

Sony has unveiled whole new collection of Walkman players at Sony’s New Zealand website. New models are NWZ-E435, NWZ-E436, and NWZ-E438 and all sport 2 inch QVGA LCD display, FM tuner, support for MP3, AAC, WMA, and Linear PCM files, weighting just 50 grams. All models will be available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB variations and colors. However there is no info about prices and release date.

If you enjoy listening to Internet radio stations and podcasts then you should check new Radiopaq Rp5 tabletop radio. This device features five-way speaker system, digital / analog processors, a headphone jack, remote control and a rather stylish design along with integrated WiFi module for connecting to the Internet and getting the news, weather and other information. Also Rp5 sports classic FM/DAB tuners and will be available in UK in September for $468 dollars.

SanDisk has a new potable player named Newsmy M521+. The design is not so attractive but the device gives decent codec support including MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC and AVI formats as well as photo and text viewer. Also there is expected FM tuner and voice recorder. Unfortunately we don’t know when it will be released and what will be the price.

JCHyun Udea Discovery is a device that can be your PMP and your personal assistant. For about $176 bucks you get video and audio player along with software for handwriting recognition and 32 dictionaries in four languages. The interface strangely resembles on Windows Mobile but it is not. Right now available only in Korea.

RAmos continues to ship interesting players and we are presenting new T8 iMovie player. This PMP sport 4.3 inch touchscreen along with 32GB of storage space and full support for most popular codecs, TV-out and micro speakers. The T8 is just 10mm thick and should be available right now in China.

RAmos has unveiled new PMP named Mumu iPearl. All designed in pink and white shades this player is obviously targeting female audience. As you can see from the photo there is no obvious buttons and complete interface is also in pink color. Still the company didn’t publish any specifications or possible release date so we have to hope that this idea will never go on sale.

If you thought that 1GB Journey DAP was enough from ZVUE, you are wrong. The new PMP comes with Elvis Presley music preloaded along with video clips of The King. The device itself features 2.4 inch display, FM tuner, voice recorder, microSD slot and USB connectivity. The new player will be available soon and costs just $49.88. Elvis lovers must get one ASAP!

Chinese Sony division has released new PMP named PMX-M80. This player features 4.3 inch touchscreen, 16GB of storage and special mapping feature that resembles to the Google Maps. PMX-M80 support SRS 3D audio, MP4, AVI, WMA, MP3, AAC, mic, memory stick and up to 6 hours of video. Price is 2,260 yuan or about $331 US dollars.
