Sanyo ships new projector, the PLV-Z700 featuring Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 native resolution, 1,200 ANSI lumens, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, twin HDMI 1.3b ports and variable iris that can control lens iris adjustment every 1/60th of a second. Expected to be launched in UK in October for yet unknown price.

InFocus has added new projector in the lineup, the Play Big IN80 model. IN80 packs a 1080p DarkChip with BrilliantColor technology, 1300 lumens and designed much like previous IN83. It will hit the stores in September with estimated price about $2500 bucks.

NEC has rolled out new mobile projectors the NP41 and NP64. Both models are DLP projectors that displays standard 1024 x 768 resolution, along with a 1,600:1 contrast ratio, automatic keystone correction, VGA, RCA, and S-video connectors, and 3,500 hours of lamp life in the special eco mode. Only difference is that NP64 sport 3,000 lumens of brightness. Expected release date is somewhere in October and prices will be $999 for NP41 and $1,399 for NP61.

Nippon Signal has announced new super small mini projector measuring just 90 x 55 x 20 millimeters. This projector use laser and a pair of MEMS scanners to project an image, unlike the competitive products that rely on a more conventional LED light source. Still the project is in test phase and we’re not sure when it will be officially released.

Samsung has finally released upscale 1080p SP-A800B DLP projector. Developed in cooperation with legend Joe Kane this projector share elegant design and 1080p HD features with contrast ration of 10,000:1, a 95% aperture ratio, 16-microsecond response time and a full 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Noise level is about 25dB and soon will be available in US. Price is still unknown.

InFocus has a new series of IN5100 projectors. Designed for large audience this line comes with WXGA resolution, XGA on the 5102 and 5106 models, 4,000 to 5,000 lumens, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, dual stereo speakers, VGA, HDMI 1.3, 5 BNC, component, S-Video and composite inputs. Available right now from $3,499 starting price.

Mini projectors are so popular last days so here is another one - Aiptek PocketCinema V10. This pocket sized projector sport 3M’s miniature projection technology and can display a 50-inch image. Along with that PocketCinema features 3-in-1 card reader and 1GB of internal memory, built-in battery and stereo speakers. So much stuff in so small package! Still no info about prices and availability.

Check out the new goodie we have spotted at Computex - pico projector from named Foxconn named PD-W1001. This little fella measures just 55- x 46- x 26-millimeters and sport 0.3-inch Texas Instruments DLP chip, displays WVGA 854 x 480 resolution and gives 25 Lumens. So far we don’t have info about availability and price.
